 Why we started Cinematic Afterglow
 

Hello everyone! This is our first blog entry for Cinematic Afterglow and we would like to start off by wishing everyone a Happy and Prosperous 2009 and telling you a little bit about us, and why we do what we do!

Cinematic Afterglow is a production company that originally began as Joe Daddy Productions filming miscellaneous events. We transitioned into the wedding scene because that was just the natural way for us to go. We are a husband and wife team. We were married 10 years ago and hired a videography company to document our wedding day. It was quite honestly one of the best investments we’ve ever made. We’ve watched that video many times including every year for our anniversary, shared it with each of our four children as well as friends and family. I can’t imagine not having those once in a lifetime moments to relive. It was awesome to actually see myself walk down the isle, to see the tears in everyone’s eyes, to hear the love in our voices as we said our vows to eachother. It’s something I think of as a gift, and I’m truly grateful to the videographers we hired. Since that time, technology has advanced dramatically and the quality of DVD and new cameras have added to the wonderful effects of watching your special day unfold, but weddings are our passion. We began the production company filming events, music videos and live performances We will film any event or special occasion, as long as it doesn’t interfere with our wedding schedule. We approach each wedding with a light heart and good wishes for your lives together. We know how much planning went in to your Wedding Day, we know this is one of the most important days of your life, and we would be honored to document that day and present you with memories to hand down to your children, and their children’s children. Imagine how amazing and special it would be to watch your own grandparent’s and parent’s wedding day.

We believe in love, in love that lasts. We believe in soul-mates and destiny. These are reasons it was natural for us to begin filming weddings. We can honestly say we will be almost as excited as you when your wedding day arrives.
