We had a great time photographing Jen and her beautiful princess.  Actually, my assistant and I both left the shoot that day a Princess.  It’s official.  Little J said we were.  Both of us.  She made it so, and, Yes …we believe her.  I think you should too.

Entries are being accepted now through March 9, 2012 at 10 p.m..  To be considered you must be a musician or have a band with your own original music, fill out an entry form, submit a CD with or link of a high quality recording of the song you want considered, submit your written lyrics a snapshot of you/and or your band.  The winner will be notified prior to March 22, 2012 when the winner will be announced.  Filming will require multiple sessions during weekdays this summer.

This will be a  collaboration of some great local talent!  Dina DeVore will be the lead makeup/hair artist, who we are really excited to have working with us on this project.  She is amazing!  Concept, visualization, and location will be a collaborative effort with Cinematic Afterglow.

All Genres of music are welcome and will be considered, as will solo artists and large bands.  Cover Music will not be considered.  Original music Only!

We both wanted this shoot to be beautiful with a bit of edginess so we worked together to add the black touches to the strapless tulle wedding dress, popped on a belt and achieved a great look.  Brides should definitely not be afraid of adding color or personality to their wedding look.  Or, if you’d like to add some pizazz to your wedding dress after the fact, we’d love to work with you on styling, hair and makeup (by Dina ofcourse!) and get those pictures of you that you really want in your wedding dress!

Santa Fe is a great place for a photo shoot, we can match a location to the look you’d like to achieve for your Bridal Shoot, and bring that handsome groom of yours for some really fun couple shots…or just surprise him on your anniversary with some really amazing pictures of you in your wedding dress.  A post bridal shoot after the wedding (even years later!) is a very special reason to wear your dress again.  This time around you won’t be so worried about rushing through your photo shoot, leaving your guests unattended or missing out on your own wedding reception!

(Don’t do that! Plan a post wedding bridal shoot!  You’ll be glad you did and won’t have to feel torn about missing your wedding and getting amazing images of you in your beautiful dress)

Jonathan and Merisa are a super special couple from Washington.   I tried talking them into getting married in Santa Fe, and as much as they thought about it (I think they were just humoring me), it’s not gonna happen.

They have however, promised to come back with wedding dress in tow, and do a bridal shoot with us on the plaza.   They’re planning their wedding and I’m planning their post wedding photo shoot.

We really enjoyed the time we spent with them.  I couldn’t have imagined a more kind and loving couple.  They are beautiful together.  On the outside, but more importantly and where it really counts, …on the inside.

Some of the most beautiful people are pregnant women…  It is  wonderful, sensual and humbling having a baby growing inside you.  The changes you feel, as the love for your baby grows each day is a truly awesome experience and such an important time in your life as a woman and a mother.  Congratulations to all you beautiful mamas.  …This series has put me back in touch again with the miracle of motherhood.   Thank you Elena for allowing us to share these images from our time together.
